v2.7.0

Screenify Studio v2.7.0

Noise Reduction

Fans, air conditioning, mains hum and keyboard clatter can now come out of your voice in one switch, so your narration sounds like it was recorded in a quiet room.

What's New

  • Noise Reduction — Turn it on in the Audio tab, under the microphone settings. Screenify Studio cleans your mic once, in a few seconds, and you hear the result right away in the preview. What you hear is exactly what you export.
  • Two modes — Standard is fast and cleans everyday fan noise, hum and hiss, included in every plan. Studio gives a noticeably cleaner voice and clears even a loud fan and keyboard clatter (Pro, one-time 9 MB download). On the free plan you can download Studio and try it in the preview; exports on the free plan use Standard.
  • Strength — Choose Light, Medium or Strong. Light keeps your voice most natural, Strong removes the most noise.
  • Recorded voiceovers too — Narration you record in the editor is cleaned with the same switch, and the Voiceover panel shows whether a take is being cleaned.
  • Your original is never touched — Switch Noise Reduction off and you're back to the original recording instantly. Switching back on, or between Standard and Studio, is instant once the audio has been cleaned.
  • Command line and AI assistants — screenify export takes --denoise standard|studio and --denoise-strength, and you can ask your AI assistant to "remove the fan noise" when it exports a recording for you. See Command Line.
