Welcome to Screenify Studio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Screenify Studio application, website at screenify.studio, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by SnapGen Solutions ("we", "our", "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Overview of the Service

Screenify Studio is a professional screen recording and sharing platform available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. The Service allows users to record their screen, edit recordings, and share them via the cloud. Basic recording features are available for free, while advanced features and cloud sharing require a paid subscription.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Free and Paid Usage

Free Tier

Screen recording and basic app features are available without payment. Free-tier recordings may have limitations on duration, resolution, or cloud storage.

Paid Plans

Paid plans unlock advanced features including unlimited recording, higher resolution exports, expanded cloud storage, and premium sharing options. Details of available plans and pricing are listed on our Pricing page.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
• Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you choose.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your selected plan.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase — no questions asked.

To request a refund, contact us at support@screenify.studio with your payment details. Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of all recordings, videos, and other content you create or upload through the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to record and share any content
• Not uploading content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Maintaining backup copies of your important recordings

We do not monitor, review, or edit your User Content unless required by law or to enforce these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Record or share content without the consent of all parties involved, where required by law
• Upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or related systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Use the Service for any purpose that competes directly with Screenify Studio
• Engage in automated data collection (scraping, crawling) without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by SnapGen Solutions. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

9. Software License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the Screenify Studio desktop application on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial use.

This license does not permit:

• Redistribution or resale of the application
• Modification or reverse-engineering of the software
• Sublicensing or transferring the license to another party
• Removing or altering any proprietary notices or labels

10. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, patches, and new features from time to time. While we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service with reasonable notice.

Core functionality (recording and exporting) will be maintained, though specific features may be modified or discontinued as the Service evolves.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to paid features will end at the conclusion of your current billing period
• Your uploaded content will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days
• Local recordings on your device will not be affected

We may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapGen Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapGen Solutions from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SnapGen Solutions operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
