v2.6.4
Screenify Studio v2.6.4
Your project's media, in one place
Until now the timeline was the only place that knew what a project contained. Take a clip off it and the file was still there on disk, but nothing in the app could reach it — so every removal was one-way. This release gives that media a home of its own.
What's New
- Project Media. A panel (Cmd+Opt+1) listing every recording, video and image this project holds, whether or not it currently sits on the timeline. Preview any of them full-size right in the canvas and scrub to any moment, then drop one back in at the start, at the end, or exactly where the playhead sits. You can place the same source as many times as you like.
- A first look at the AI agent. Cmd+Opt+2 opens a preview of the agent coming to the editor: what it will be able to do with your recording, and the setup that already lets Claude, Claude Code and Cursor record, style and export with Screenify today.
Fixes
- Long recordings show their picture again. Anything from roughly half an hour upwards could open in the editor with a blank canvas and never recover. Those recordings now play normally.
- Imported video clips survive a reopen. A clip you had imported could vanish from the canvas the next time you opened the project, even though it was still on the timeline.
- Appending a recording keeps its cursor. Adding a new take to an existing project could lose the cursor artwork, or draw the wrong cursor over takes you recorded earlier.
- Right-clicking an empty track no longer leaves a stray segment behind.
