v2.6.3

Screenify Studio v2.6.3

Demos that build and check themselves

Fixes for AI assistants and the command line, plus a way to describe a whole demo in one file.

Fixes

  • AI agent mode works again with an OpenRouter key. The default model it asked for had been retired, so web record -p and effects --ai stopped at the first step. It now uses a current model that can also read screenshots.
  • Projects saved from the command line keep their look in the app. After export --save or effects --save, opening the project in the app no longer resets the style or drops zooms, 3D moves and camera moves.
  • Two graphics templates work from the command line. callout and review-spotlight were mistaken for other effects with the same name.
  • Click effects no longer go missing in a longer plan. In a plan with many steps, 3D zooms, spotlights and callouts could end up with nothing to aim at and quietly disappear. They now land on the clicks they are meant for, and a step that can't be placed stops with an explanation.

Command line and AI agents

  • One file, one demo. screenify demo build storyboard.json records the site, adds the 3D device, camera moves, graphics, titles, music and narration, exports every aspect ratio you ask for and checks the result. AI assistants send the same storyboard to record_web_demo, and can try it first without recording. See Build a whole demo.
  • Graphics that follow the page. start=@goto:pricing+0.5 shows a graphic half a second after the pricing page opens, however fast the page loads. Works with clicks, typing and scrolling too.
  • AI narration. voiceover '…', or say in a storyboard, reads your script with the app's AI voices and puts it on the Voiceover track, so you can edit it in the app later. See AI director.
  • Music by mood. Ask for calm, energetic or cinematic music and get a matching Screenify Originals track.
  • A review before you share. screenify read review checks an exported demo for blank pages, long still stretches, a 3D laptop with nothing under it, template sample text, missing music and titles on top of each other, and saves a contact sheet of the video. See Read & review.
  • Agents can read a project. screenify read returns the transcript, any frame, the timeline and what happened in a web recording, so an assistant can check its own work.
  • Safer web recordings. Every link is checked before recording starts, so a broken link stops with its address instead of filming an error page. Each page finishes loading before the next step, clicks can pick files or folders in an upload dialog, and when the same text appears twice the one on screen is clicked. See Web demos.
  • Better defaults. Exports are capped at 60 fps, --platform keeps the long edge at 1920, and --desk puts a 3D MacBook on a desk.
