v2.6.2
Screenify Studio v2.6.2
Steadier multi-take recordings
Fixes for projects you record in several takes, and new ways to build a demo from the command line.
Fixes
- Adding a recording no longer resets a 3D mockup. Recording another take into a project with a 3D device, an environment background or Device Motion could leave the export with a grey background and a still device. The scene now stays exactly as you set it.
- Sound stays in sync after you add a take or pause. In projects recorded in several parts, the voice could drift ahead of the picture, by up to a few seconds when one part had no microphone. Each part now lines up with its own video. Projects already affected are corrected the next time you add a recording.
- Imported video clips no longer show a blank frame in the preview. On a slow load, an imported clip could stay empty while the cursor, camera and sound kept playing.
- Editor tabs fit on smaller screens. On shorter windows the first and last tabs on the left (Background and Watermark) were cut off. The tabs now shrink to fit, and show only icons when space is tight.
- Counting numbers keep their thousands separator. A Metric graphic set to 100,000 now counts up as 68,304 instead of 68.304.
Command line and AI agents
- 3D device mockups from the command line.
--mockup,--environmentand--lightingput your recording in a 3D device with a real-world background, and Device Motion moves the camera around it. See Record and export. - Trim on export.
--startand--durationexport just the part you want. - Intro and outro spaces. Add an empty background before or after the recording and place a title graphic on it.
- Background music. Add a track from Screenify Originals to the Music track in one command. See AI director.
- Graphics for agents. Agents can now set a graphic's colour, font and dimming, spread graphics across the video automatically, and must fill in real numbers and names instead of the template's sample text.
- Projects built from the command line keep their mockup when you open them in the app.
