v2.4.2
Screenify Studio v2.4.2
Cutting imported videos, and menus that stay on screen
A small follow-up to 2.4.1, fixing two things reported by users plus a sharper cursor in exports.
Fixes
- Cutting an imported video works. Splitting a video you added to the timeline, trimming its start, or deleting a section from the middle no longer makes the picture disappear. Each piece now plays its own part of the video, in the preview and in the exported file. Before, the pieces after a cut quietly replayed the video from its first second, so a project exported earlier with a cut imported clip will come out correctly if you export it again.
- Right-click menus stay on screen. Right-clicking near the right edge of the timeline no longer pushes the menu off the window, on every track.
- Cleaner cursor motion blur in exports. A moving cursor no longer leaves a trail of stepped copies behind it in the exported video; the blur is now smooth, matching the preview. The default blur strength is lower (15%). Projects keep the strength they already use, so a project exported again with cursor blur on will look a little different, cleaner than before.
