Narration in your own voice

Read one short paragraph out loud and Screenify builds a voice you can write scripts for. It runs on your Mac, and the voice never leaves it.

What's New

• Clone your voice — In the AI Voiceover tab, Create your voice records a ~15 second sample, then adds your voice next to the 54 built-in ones. Pick it, type a script, and the passage lands on the timeline like any other voiceover. English only for now.
• Generating happens in the background — close the composer and keep editing; the passage holds its place on the timeline and fills in when it's ready.
• Your voice stays on this Mac — nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared. The first voice you create downloads a one-time 565 MB engine, and everything after that is offline.
• Rename, re-record or delete a voice — from the Voices row in the AI Voiceover tab or from the Voice Library.
• A HEX box on every colour swatch — all 24 colour pickers in the editor (captions, background, annotations, cursor, camera, masks, zoom, inset…) now open the same picker, with a field for typing or pasting a colour code.

Cloned voices are a Pro feature. On a free account you can create a voice, generate with it and hear it in your video — exporting asks you to upgrade, the same way AI Voiceover already did.

Improvements

• Every colour picker looks and behaves the same, and the camera border can finally be set to a dark colour.
• No more web-style blue focus rings on buttons, text fields and pickers inside popovers.
• The AI Voiceover composer warns you when a script isn't English, and the segment on the timeline now shows which voice made it.

Fixes

• The background colour picker opens on your saved colour instead of a default grey.
• Annotation colour pickers follow undo and the annotation you have selected.
• Two opacity sliders that never had any effect are gone.
• A voiceover passage that has no audio file yet no longer silences the entire export.
