v2.2.7

Screenify Studio v2.2.7

3D devices that behave like the real thing

Laptop lids that open and close the way they should, and a Transform 3D that does the same thing in the preview as in the exported video, whichever mockup you are in.

What's New

  • Transform 3D tilts the whole iPhone — on a 3D iPhone mockup, Transform 3D now tilts the phone itself, the same way it already did on a flat iPhone frame. Before, the track was hidden while still changing the export, and the preview and the video disagreed about what it did.
  • The MacBook Pro 16 lid moves — Lid Angle and the Lid Reveal camera motion now work on the MacBook Pro 16. Both did nothing on it before.

Improvements

  • A frame is ready when you start a Photo Motion — adding the first Photo Motion segment to an iPhone recording picks an iPhone 17 Pro Max frame for the flat sections, so they don't start bare.

Fixes

  • Transform 3D on a 3D Mac mockup now shows in the preview — the exported video already tilted your recording inside the laptop screen, but the preview showed nothing, and scrubbing outside a Device Motion segment rotated the whole scene — laptop, desk and backdrop — instead.
  • Same fix for Mac photo mockups — on a Realistic mockup with a Mac, Transform 3D now shows in the preview inside the laptop screen, the way the export always had it.
  • Transform 3D no longer bends a recording inside a photo of a phone — the phone in a photo can't tilt, so Transform 3D is now off there, in the preview and in the export, and the track tells you why. Mac photos are unchanged.
  • MacBook lids stay where you put them — the MacBook Neo lid no longer passes through the base at a Lid Angle of 0, and a closed lid no longer folds through the laptop after switching devices or turning the mockup off and on again.
  • The laptop screen stays lit during a Lid Reveal — in the exported video the screen went black for most of the reveal and only showed your recording at the very end.
  • Camera tracks lid follows the lid while it plays — it used to move only while you dragged the Lid Angle slider, not during playback or in the export.
  • Deleting the last Photo Motion segment no longer breaks the mockup — the photo was left zoomed and off to one side, or disappeared completely.
  • The multi-device stage is honest about Transform 3D — the track isn't previewed there but still reaches your export; the row now says so instead of looking like it does nothing.

Projects that use a 3D MacBook, Transform 3D on a 3D iPhone, or Transform 3D on a phone photo mockup will export differently than before. A 3D MacBook's lid now sits at the Lid Angle you set, which can be a few degrees off from how it looked in earlier exports. Everything else exports exactly as it did.
