v2.2.6

Screenify Studio v2.2.6

Rooms for your phone, and shadows that breathe

Two things that were sitting still now move: the backdrop behind a 3D iPhone, and the light and shadow layer cast over your frame.

What's New

  • A real room behind your iPhone — 3D iPhone mockups get the same environment backdrops the Mac has had: pick a scene, set its brightness, rotate it to place the light where you want it. It shows in the preview and in the exported video. The phone itself still reflects the studio lighting rather than the scene you picked — the backdrop is the part that changes.
  • Light & Shadow can move — the leaf shadows, blinds and light streaks no longer sit perfectly still. Pick Breathe, Sway or Drift and set how much. Each image comes with the motion that suits it, so turning on Sway over leaves and then switching to blinds gives you the motion blinds should have, not the one leaves had.

Fixes

  • Old projects no longer pick up a backdrop nobody chose — a project saved before May could turn on an environment for a non-Mac device on its own. Fixed without touching Mac projects.
  • Background patterns stop painting over an environment backdrop — when the area around the device is a scene rather than a colour, the pattern now stays out of the exported video, the same way it already stayed out of the preview.

Projects that use a 3D iPhone backdrop or a moving Light & Shadow layer will export differently than before — that is the point of this release. Everything else exports exactly as it did.
