v2.2.2
Screenify Studio v2.2.2
Where the preview and the export disagreed
A round of fixes for the places your finished video came out different from what the editor showed you — camera framing, Mac mockups, and callouts.
Fixes
- Camera shadow matches the preview — the shadow used to fade out right where it met the camera, leaving a pale ring around it, and it fell off harder than the preview. It now hugs the camera and softens the way you see it while editing.
- Camera border colours are right — 12 of the 15 border presets exported in the wrong colour. "Vivid Orange", for instance, is a coral pink in the editor but came out orange.
- Camera corner rounding — corners came out rounder than the preview, and the smaller the camera the further off it was.
- No more gap around the camera border — a hairline of background showed between the video and its border, and square corners poked out of the rounded frame the first time you opened a project.
- Mac mockups: Content Scale and the menu bar now export — both worked in the preview but were missing from the finished video.
- Mac mockups: cursor and taps sit where they should in the preview — they drifted toward the edges, by as much as 7% of the width.
- Callout corners and shadow — rounded corners stretched into ellipses on short, wide callouts, and the shadow disappeared entirely at the default tilt.
- Exporting no longer overwrites a file silently when a video of the same name is already there.
Note
The camera and callout fixes change how your video is rendered. Projects using a camera border, a camera shadow, or a callout will export slightly differently than before — matching what the editor shows you.
