Multi-device mockups, tightened up
A follow-up patch on the 2.0 line: the multi-device stage now behaves the way the preview promises, and exports match what you see.
Fixed
- Every 3D device is selectable in a multi-device scene — the stage only offered three models; all six are now there, and a model you pick for the first time shows its download progress instead of an empty spot.
- Swapping one device no longer rebuilds the whole scene — the other devices stay exactly where they are, and the camera keeps the angle you were looking from.
- iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro Max stand upright — both leaned noticeably in every mockup, even with all sliders at zero.
- The Dynamic Island stopped showing as a pale blob over the recording in multi-device scenes.
- MacBook Neo's screen shows your recording again in multi-device scenes, instead of a flat colored panel.
- MacBook lids stay open in exports — exported videos folded the laptop shut while the preview showed it open.
- iPhone 16 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max change color again in multi-device scenes.
- The angle you set outside a Stage Motion segment is remembered — and exported — dragging the camera there used to snap back on the next drag, and exports framed those moments from the default angle instead of yours.
- Sharper preview on non-Retina external displays — recordings looked grainy and jagged there while the same project was crisp on a built-in display.
- 3D cursor styles no longer break the preview in some projects.
- Smoother camera hand-off entering and leaving a Stage Motion keyframe segment.
