v1.6.2

Screenify Studio v1.6.2

Crisp 3D in Every Export Format

A targeted patch that wipes out a long-standing visual artifact when 3D perspective effects animate during export — and confirms cursor 3D plane-locking now works pixel-perfect across editor preview, MP4 export, GIF export, and WebP export.

Fixed

  • No more ghost frames during 3D rotations — Exporting a recording with a 3D perspective effect (rotateLeft, tiltUp, etc.) and motion blur enabled could briefly produce a translucent "double image" — a flat ghost overlay trailing the rotating frame during the spring-in animation. The artifact only appeared at the start of the rotation and cleared once the camera settled, making every zoom-in look like it stuttered for a fraction of a second. Now resolved: the rotation animates cleanly from the very first frame.
  • GIF and WebP exports inherit the fix — Animated GIF and WebP outputs go through the same render path as the affected MP4 export, so they automatically pick up the cleaner 3D behavior. Tutorial GIFs and Slack-ready WebP clips with 3D zoom effects no longer carry the ghost artifact.

Improved

  • Cursor 3D plane-locking — verified in every format — v1.6.1 introduced the cursor following the 3D rotation in editor preview and one of the export paths. The matching code for the other path shipped at the same time but couldn't be visually verified because the ghost artifact above muddied the comparison. With that resolved, cursor 3D is now confirmed identical across editor preview, MP4 export, GIF export, and WebP export — the cursor always rides the rotated screen surface, never floats flat.
