Sharper 3D Exports & Faster Rendering

A polish-and-performance update on top of 1.18.0. Your 3D effects, device mockups, and shadows now look truer to the preview, and exports that use a shadow render up to twice as fast — with no change to how your finished videos look.

Improved

• Shadows follow your 3D tilt — When you add a 3D or perspective effect and tilt the video, the frame's drop shadow and inset border now tilt right along with it, exactly matching what you see in the editor. Before, they stayed flat and looked detached from the tilted frame.
• Truer device & simulator shadows — When your recording includes an iPhone simulator or a device frame, its shadow now hugs the real shape of the device instead of drawing a plain rectangle around it. The result is a cleaner, more natural mockup — especially when you record several windows together.
• Up to 2× faster exports with shadows — Recordings that use a drop shadow now export roughly twice as fast, most noticeably for multi-window recordings and longer clips. The finished video is pixel-for-pixel identical — you just get it sooner.
• Quieter export chime — The sound that plays when an export finishes is a little softer, so it's less startling.

Fixed

• Fixed the Welcome screen occasionally re-loading its content every time you opened the app.
